Body Of Missing Monroe County Man Found

MONROE COUNTY ( WCBI).  –  The search for a missing Monroe County man is over .

Coroner Alan Gurley confirms the body of 63 year old Warren Bowens was found in the wreckage of his car off White Rock Road .  A man in the area flagged down a passing deputy and told him he thought he had located the area Bowens could be found.   His car with Bowens body inside was found submerged in a body of water just off the road.  Gurley says Bowens died from multiple trauma from the car accident that ended with Bowens car in the water.    The coroner says he’s fairly certain the accident happened on July 6th because citizens reported what they said sounded like an accident in that area but no wreckage was found that day.   Bowens family reported him missing July 6th.   No autopsy is planned
