Bond set for man charged with capital murder in Prentiss County

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond for a Prentiss County homicide suspect was set at $2 million.

35-year-old Louis Poutoa was charged with capital murder.

The sheriff’s department reported the shooting happened Friday on Highway 4, near Hobo Station.

Deputies found 53-year-old Garnet Matthew West of Booneville with gunshot wounds lying in a yard when they arrived.

This shooting remains under investigation.
