Booneville utility employee charged with embezzlement

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- A Booneville utility employee is behind bars accused of embezzlement.

Mitzi Gale Stennett was arrested for Embezzlement late Wednesday night.

Stennett worked at Booneville Gas and Water Department when the alleged incident occurred.

Her bond is set at $250,000.

Stennett’s case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
