Booneville woman accused of embezzlement

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Booneville woman was accused of taking thousands of dollars from a utility company.

Janet Patton, 54, was charged with Embezzlement after she allegedly took $40,268 from the New Candle Water Association.

Her bond was set at $50,000.
