Arrest Made In Thursday Shooting

COLUMBUS (WCBI) – Columbus Police have made an arrest in connection with a Thursday afternoon shooting.  24 year old  Cheyterian Tashawn Smith of Columbus was arrested late Thursday for aggravated domestic violence.

He is in custody at the Lowndes County Detention Center at this time.
Just after 5 Thursday Columbus Police were called to 1523 23rd Street North for a gunshot victim. The victim is alleged to have been shot by Cheyterian Tashawn Smith who lives in the house with the victim The family member living in the house was shot in the leg and received non-life-threating injuries from the incident.
