The coroner of Marshall County confirmed the death earlier Saturday.
Miller, who played football at Ole Miss and Murray State following graduation at IAHS, was one of the best quarterbacks in the viewing area when he played for the Indians from 2007-2010.
He was named a PrepStar All-America selection after he threw for 1,636 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior while also rushing for 1,148 yards and 22 scores. He also played basketball and baseball for the Indians.
His younger brothers, Vijay and Tray, were senior members of the 2015 Itawamba AHS football team.

During his one season in Murray, Kentucky, Miller was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer team as a sophomore racking up over 2,000 yards passing to go along with 18 touchdown passes.
Most recently, Miller played baseball at the University of Arkansas at Monticello following his transfer from Murray State.
His head coach at Ole Miss, Houston Nutt, had this to say of Maikhail in a text message to the Oxford Citizen’s John Davis: “My heart is so sad tonight when I received the news on Maikhail. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I know you are hurting. What a great young man you raised!! Maikhail always did things the RIGHT WAY.”
