Bulldog Hoops Open Up To Media

Mississippi State Basketball invited the media into Humphrey Colliseum on Thursday to talk about the upcoming season. While Head Coach Rick Ray expressed excitement and optimism over the 2012-2013 campaign, he also made sure to point out a few of his concerns.

“I think we’re a little behind right now in terms of our half court offense but I think our full court offense and transition game is on pace right now. We’ll find out more once we actually start playing games” he said.

Senior guard Jalen Steele talked about some of the goals for this season.

“Our goal is getting to the NCAA Tournament and proving everybody wrong. Once we get everybody down pat and know what each person’s game is, know what people can and can’t do, then we’ll be good this year. We’ll win more than people think.”
