Cal quarterback Allan Bridgford is expected to transfer upon his graduation from Berkley this summer.

Allan Bridgford, who appeared in 10 games and started three the past two seasons for the University of California, plans to transfer to USM after graduating in May from the school in Berkeley, Calif.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound native of Mission Viejo, Calif., would have at least one year of eligibility. He lost at least one season to a shoulder injury.

Bridgford, who was coached by first-year USM offensive coordinator/outside receivers coach Marcus Arroyo the past two seasons at Cal, completed 44 of 100 passes for 461 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions for the Golden Bears. He also had one rushing touchdown.

Two USM quarterbacks, red-shirt sophomore Kyle Sloter and junior Cole Weeks, split the contact work in Coach Todd Monken’s first spring with the Golden Eagles.

Junior Ricky Lloyd took part in non-contact drills while recovering from late-season knee surgery. Llloyd is expected to be cleared for full work this summer.

Senior Chris Campbell did not take part in spring while recovering from a series of injuries in 2012, and his status is not known.

USM will have two prep quarterback signees, Nick Mullens of Hoover, Ala., and Parker Adamson of Oxford, arriving this summer.
