Captain D’s fire in Starkville ruled accidental

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – An investigation has been completed into the fire that destroyed Captain D’s in Starkville.

The Starkville Fire Department says the fire has been ruled accidental.

The fire reportedly started from an electrical short in the concealed attic space on top of a storage room.

The restaurant caught fire on April 15. No one was in the building when the fire started.
