Celebrity Wait Night

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Local notables spent part of Tuesday night waiting on tables.

The annual Make-A-Wish Celebrity Wait Night, featured waiters such as Tupelo Fire Chief Thomas Walker and former Make-A-Wish recipient, Sam Farris.

WCBI’s Allie Martin and several doctors and other business and civic leaders also put on aprons and waited tables.

Ten percent of the evening’s sales from Mugshots and all tips collected from the fundraiser went to Make-A-Wish.

It takes about $8,000 to grant a child’s wish.
