Charges Filed In Connection With Van Through House Incident

COLUMBUS (WCBI) – A new twist to that U-Haul through the house story from Tuesday.

The man inside the house has been charged with domestic violence in connection with a fight that took place in the moments leading up to the crash.  Kenneth Spencer Junior says he and his girlfriend argued in front of the Peach Street residence.  During that fight, Spencer says he grabbed the victim by the neck and choked her before retreating into the home.  That’s when the woman jumped into the moving van and drove it into the home.  Spencer is charged with aggravated domestic violence and faIlure to appear on an old warrant.  No word yet on what if any charges the woman involved will face.
