Chilly air continues, nice Black Friday ahead

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Chilly but near seasonable air will stick around into the weekend. Rain becomes likely again by Sunday.

OVERNIGHT: Expect a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures in the lower 40s. We may see a few sprinkles or brief light showers, but most places will stay dry.

BLACK FRIDAY: The sky should at least partially clear up by afternoon, allowing temperatures to reach the upper 50s. No major issues for shoppers!

WEEKEND: Saturday looks nice & dry, but Sunday does bring another rain chances back to the Southeast. Steady rain is expected much of the day, which will hold temperatures down in the lower 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Another blast of much colder air looks to arrive by Monday! Lows are expected to drop into the 20s Monday and Tuesday night, so plan accordingly! A slow rebound in temperature is on tap toward mid-week.
