Choctaw Tribe Member Heading To Federal Prison

WINSTON COUNTY (WCBI) -A member of the Choctaw Indian tribe will spend 9 years in prison for illegal sexual contact with a disabled person.

Danny Wayne Cotton Senior received the federal prison term for CrimInal Sexual Abuse CommItted In Indian Country.  Court records show Cotton took advantage of a woman who did not have the mental capacity to say no tohis advances.  The incident took place in the Crystal Ridge community on Choctaw Tribal lands in Winston County.  The Choctaw Police of the Mississippi band of Choctaws investigated the case.
