Cloudy with occasional showers into Saturday

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Unseasonably warm weather has come to an end! Occasional showers could continue into parts of the Veterans Day weekend.

OVERNIGHT: Expect off/on showers through the late evening and overnight hours. Steady temps in the lower 50s are expected with widespread cloudiness.

WEEKEND: For Veterans Day Saturday, occasional showers are expected at least for the first half of the day. The afternoon & evening hours are looking mostly dry w/temperatures in the low 60s or upper 50s. Sunday looks mostly dry, save for a few isolated showers in the morning. Expect highs in the middle 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday is shaping up to be dry but mostly cloudy before the next system arrives. An area of low pressure is expected to move along the Gulf Coast, sending moisture northward into the Deep South. We expect a good chance for rain Tuesday into Wednesday w/temps in the lower 60s.
