COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Over time, properties can become dilapidated when left unattended.
Those blighted properties can sometimes bring problems to a city.
After years of planning, the Columbus Blight Elimination Program started today.
There are over 200 blighted properties in Columbus.
The first abandoned house was demolished this morning on 22nd Street North.
