Columbus man will spend 20 years in jail for multiple thefts

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a variety of thefts.

Frank Rice pleaded guilty to Grand Larceny for taking items from a nightclub.

He also admitted breaking into a store.

Prosecutors said Rice also burglarized an east Columbus restaurant, twice.

Rice was sentenced this week in Lowndes County Circuit Court.
