Columbus police investigate armed robbery on Lehmberg Road
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police are investigating an early morning armed robbery.
The hold-up happened at about 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Country Air Apartments on Lehmberg Road.
Police Chief Joseph Daughtry said it appears two men in dark clothing, possibly wearing a face covering, held the victim at gunpoint as he was walking to his vehicle.
A wallet and a gun were taken.
No injuries were reported.
The robbers ran back into the apartment complex.
