Columbus Police Make Car Burglary Arrest
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police say they’ve arrested a man for breaking into a car, and inappropriately touching a child.
The incident happened Saturday, outside of a home on 22nd Street North.
Investigators say 44-year-old Darryl Lee Williams broke into a car parked in the driveway.
Several children were inside of the vehicle, and police say Williams touched one of the kids inappropriately.
He’s now being charged with burglary of an auto, and touching for lustful purposes.
The case is still under investigation.
