Columbus Salvation Army Director Speaks At Columbus Exchange Club

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Columbus Exchange Club meets the new face of the Columbus Salvation Army Chapter.

Jennifer Graham was the guest speaker this morning, March 15, at the exchange club’s meeting.

Graham talked about the role the Salvation Army plays in the community.

She even highlighted a few new initiatives leaders are working on to build a strong community.

But without the help of the people, Graham says it couldn’t be done.

“We need their donations, their volunteer services, because we’re helping people actually go from a state of crisis and emergency assistance to a place of stability and self-sufficiency,” said Graham.

One those new programs is a new youth program that teaches etiquette techniques.

Graham says so far 50 kids are signed up.
