Columbus School Vandalism Investigation

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- An investigation is underway in Columbus after school property is damaged.

Early Wednesday morning, the Columbus Municipal School District (CMSD) was notified of vandalism at the football stadium press box and two school buses in the area.

More than one window was broken out on the press box.

The suspects apparently entered the press box and overturned desks and other items.

More than one window on each school bus was also broken during the same time period.

The case is being handled by the CMSD Police Department with assistance from the Columbus Police Department.
