Crews Battle Late Night House Fire

STURGIS, Miss. (WCBI)- Several fire crews spent Wednesday night battling an intense house fire.

Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator, Kirk Rosenhan says the call came in just after 9:30 Wednesday night.

Flames were seen coming from the roof and the windows of the home on Maben Sturgis Road when crews arrived.

It’s unclear if anyone was home. No injuries have been reported.

Maben, Strugis and Mathiston Fire crews battled the blaze.

The cause remains under investigation.
