Debris pickup in Columbus ends Sunday

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Sunday will be the last day for Columbus residents to push tornado debris to the curbside for pick up.

“Looks Great Services” collected debris off the side of the road since last Tuesday.

So far they’ve collected 1.6 million pounds of debris.

364 tons of that debris has been vegetation.

The city encouraged all those with debris to take advantage of this last week of pickup.
