Derma Man Charged With Statutory Rape

DERMA, Miss. (WCBI) — An 18-year-old Derma man is charged with statutory rape.

Police Chief Stan Evans said Antaries Glass was arrested for having sex with a fourteen-year-old.

Evans said the victim gave consent and Glass did not force himself on the victim, but the victim is not legally able to give consent, leading to the statutory charge.

The age of consent in Mississippi is 16.
