SCOOBA, Miss. (WCBI) — East Mississippi Community College is moving forward, after an EF-2 tornado damaged part of its Scooba campus earlier this month.

One dorm was destroyed, others were damaged. They had to be repaired before students could move back into them.

EMCC President Tom Huebner tells WCBI displaced students in the destroyed building were moved to other dorms.

Some athletic fields were also damaged, so all home baseball and softball games had to be moved off campus.

Huebner says he still doesn’t know how much the damage will cost the school.
