Eupora Police investigate shooting

UPDATE: Eupora police have caught the suspect involved in the Tuesday night shooting.

EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI)- Police are searching for a teenage shooting suspect after one person is shot, according to Eupora Police Chief, Gregg Hunter.

Police say the shooting happened at the Early Grove Apartment on Highway 9 North around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers say Bronzeman Watson had been shot in the face and was transported to the hospital. 

Police are searching for Dy’Quarvis “Pirshion” Wofford. Police say he faces a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. 

Police say they expect to charge Wofford as an adult.

Waston’s condition is unknown.
