Facebook Live Burglary Arrest

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Facebook Live is about sharing experiences.

But Lowndes County detectives say one man shared his alleged burglary experience with the wrong person.

Now, Anthony Gilmore, 22, is charged with Burglary.

Investigators say the victim came home yesterday, March 8, to find her apartment ransacked but no items missing.

After reporting the crime, she noticed that she was tagged in a Facebook Live video where Gilmore was reportedly bragging about the break-in.

Gilmore was officially charged today.

You may recall, deputies were looking for Gilmore last month. He was wanted in connection with a felony child abuse investigation.
