OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – The Ole Miss football team picked up a verbal commit from a highly-recruited prospect Wednesday, according to reports.

Five-star offensive lineman Greg Little has verbally committed to the Rebels. Little is expected to compete for Laremy Tunsil’s replacement spot at left tackle, if Tunsil declares for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Little, a 6-foot-5, 305 pound Allen, Texas native, is rated in the top three players regardless of position in many national recruiting lists. He held more than 25 offers from four-year universities. He was a former Texas A&M verbal commit.

Ole Miss currently has the commitment of the number-one overall prospect in quarterback Shea Patterson. The Rebels’ class is now in the top five nationally in many lists.
