A+ Football Weather Ahead

TONIGHT: Any showers and storms that are still around this evening will die off quickly after sunset. Temperatures will be comfortably in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: The weather will be picture perfect with plenty of sunshine. Drier air will continue to surge in which will allow humidity values to plummet, making it feel quite pleasant outside. Temperatures will stay in the upper 80s during the day, and will drop into the low to mid 60s overnight. If you’re heading out for high school football, you can’t ask for much better weather.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Some of the gulf moisture begins to push back into the area, and that means the rain chance returns as well. We currently have a 20% chance of rain both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will remain in the mid 80s during the day and in the upper 60s overnight.

NEXT WEEK: As Tropical Storm Harvey approaches the Texas coast this weekend, it’s likely that it’s moisture will surge into our area next week. While the exact timing and amounts of rain are still uncertain, the potential exists to see some heavy rainfall. Highs will remain in the low to mid 80s. We will continue to follow Harvey and update you on the latest.
