Former Houston High Teacher Indicted On Sex Charge

HOUSTON (WCBI) – A former Houston High School teacher is free on bond tonight after being indicted on sexual battery charges.

Chickasaw County Sheriff Jim Meyers says Laurie Kilgore was indicted  by a Chickasaw County grand jury after the case was presented by the Attorney Generals office.  Kilgore surrendered late Friday afternoon and a circuit judge set her bond at $20,000.     The case stems from Kilgore’s alleged involvement with a former student.  Her arraignment is set for September 12th.
