Former Oktibbeha County circuit clerk arrested

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A former Oktibbeha County Circuit Clerk found himself back behind bars.

Glenn Hamilton, 64, was pulled over by an Oktibbeha County deputy on Douglas Town Road on Thursday night.

He was charged with careless driving, DUI other, and resisting arrest.

Deputies said he also faces possession of paraphernalia, a controlled substance and marijuana charges.

Investigators said the marijuana charge stems from a TCH pod.

Hamilton’s bond has not been set.

In June 2016, Hamilton was arrested in Clay County on drug charges while serving as the Oktibbeha County Circuit Clerk.

He resigned after pleading guilty.
