Funeral Services Set For Jerron Barnes

VERNON, Ala. (WCBI)- Funeral services are set for the Vernon, Alabama boy that died from a gunshot wound earlier this week.

Visitation will be one until four at Chandler Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon for 12 year-old Jerron Barnes.

Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m.

Barnes is remembered by family as a loving child that never met a stranger. He also loved baseball and helping others.

The seventh grader at Vernon Intermediate School died Monday at his home.

The investigation is continuing.
