GTR LINK Staffer Lands Coveted Certification

Golden Triangle, Mississippi – Chelsea Baulch, PCED, and Executive Assistant to the CEO at the GTR LINK, received her Professional Community and Economic Developer Certification in August 2015.
Governed by the national Community Development Council, the certification it is available to professional community developers who have successfully demonstrated a sound knowledge of the profession.
In order to be eligible for the certification,

BAULCH

Baulch completed a rigorous 3-year course of study at the Community Development Institute in Conway, Arkansas.
An elite field, only 161 professionals have attained the certification. Only eight of those professionals reside in Mississippi.
The Community Development Council (CDC) is a nonprofit organization founded to promote the advancement of standards of competence for community development professionals through accreditation of community development educational programs, professional certification, and the development of community volunteer leaders.
As part of their organizational planning, each member of the GTR LINK staff is required to pursue credentialing and/or continuing education each fiscal year.
