Holiday blaze halts one family’s Thanksgiving

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Lowndes County District Two Firefighters were busy Thanksgiving afternoon after a house fire.

Fire crews were called to 58 Swartz Drive around 3:25 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

The fire was contained to the kitchen area.

Thankfully everyone made it out safely.
