Jury Finds Man Guilty of Murder

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a deadly 2014 shooting in Starkville.

On Thursday, a jury found Immanuel Manning guilty of murder, and intimidating a witness.

The judge sentenced Manning to life in prison without parole in the shooting death of 35-year-old Christopher Houston.

He also received two years maximum without parole for intimidating a witness.

The fatal shooting happened at University Hills trailer park in March of 2014.

Manning was arrested days later by police in Pearl.
