Lafayette Co. man charged with murder of woman on Thanksgiving Day
LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lafayette County man was charged with murder in the death of a woman on Thanksgiving Day.
24-year-old Kylan Phillips has a $2 million bond.
Deputies were called about a domestic situation and an unresponsive woman on County Road 181 this past Thursday.
Phillips was inside the home and refused to come outside of law enforcement, at first. Eventually, he did come outside.
21-year-old Baily Reed was found dead inside the house.
Phillips has a hold on him from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
He remains in the Lafayette County jail.
