Lee County Student Charged With Making Threat
MOOREVILLE (WCBI) – For the second straight day Lee County deputies have made an arrest in a school threat case.
Deputies were on campus Wednesday following up on a threat made against Mooreville schools last Friday.
Students stepped forward Wednesday to tell deputies a certain student had made a threat.
Officers interviewed the student and they have been charged with disturbing a school setting and simple assault by threats.
Today’s arrest is being treated separately from last week’s incident at Mooreville.
Tuesday investigators charged a Nettleton student with threatening that district.
