Louisville police make arrest in weekend shooting; Teen in critical condition

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Louisville police made an arrest in a weekend shooting that left a teen in critical condition.

Police Chief Sean Holdiness said Diovion Crosby was arrested at about 6:30 a.m. November 20 on Highway 14 East.

Holdiness told WCBI that law enforcement also found a gun when Crosby was arrested.

The investigation began Saturday night when a juvenile was shot at the intersection of Main and North Height.

He was later flown to a Jackson hospital and remained critical.

Crosby was expected to be in court on November 21 for an initial appearance.

A mugshot was not available.

The shooting remains under investigation.
