Lowndes County man charged with murder

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An argument and car crash led to a murder indictment in Lowndes County.

Johnathan Bardley was charged with 2nd-degree murder and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

The incident happened on Aileen Drive on Christmas Eve 2018.

Lowndes County deputies said before the crash there was a domestic situation between Bardley and Deanna Clark.

Clark was found pinned between a tree and a car.

She died on Christmas morning.

Bardley left the scene before deputies arrived but later turned himself in.
