Lowndes County man facing arson charges

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two vehicle fires led to the arrest of a Lowndes County man.

Darrius Hendrix, 21, was charged with two counts of arson.

Volunteer firefighters were called about two vehicles on fire on Quinn Drive back on June 3.

Monday, deputies said evidence in the case led to the arrest of Hendrix.

Investigators said Hendrix lives near the scene of the fire, but it was unclear whether he had a connection to the owner of the vehicles.
