Macon Man Charged With Manslaughter in Fork Stabbing

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – A Macon man, originally arrested for aggravated assault, now faces manslaughter charges.
Macon Police arrested 55 year old James E. Gullery last Friday (7-12) afternoon.

He is accused of stabbing 33 year old Eddie Lamount Harmon in the torso with a fork.

Harmon was rushed to Noxubee General, then on to a Meridian Hospital.

He died Wednesday (7-17).

Investigators think Harmon was in a relationship Gullery’s stepdaughter.

A domestic dispute apparently escalated, and Gullery got involved.

Bond has not yet been set.

Gullery is being held in the Noxubee County Jail.
