Video Macon | One North Mississippi Town Gets Its Solar Project Off The Ground

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI)-The city of Aberdeen is now one step closer to getting its solar project off the ground.

During Tuesday’s Board of Alderman meeting, Mayor Maurice Howard said previous legal issues stemming from the development of solar have been settled.

This was a project that started in the previous administration but stalled.

Mayor Howard said the site is already cleared and everything is set to go in motion.

Howard also added that the Solar Development Group will look to begin breaking ground next month.
