Man accused of assaulting Monroe County deputy

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An Amory man was accused of assaulting a Monroe County deputy.

Larry Thomas Lee, 57, was charged with two counts of assault on a police officer.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said deputies went to Lee’s home to pick him up and Lee allegedly started to fight the deputies.

Lee is currently out on bond.
