Man who allegedly put store clerk in choke hold indicted for robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man accused of putting a store clerk in a choke hold was indicted on a robbery charge.

Investigators said this is surveillance video of Allen Moon.

The alleged hold-up happened last September at a convenience store on Highway 50.

A clerk told deputies that the robber said to give him money and that “his baby just died.”

Clothing matching what the suspect wore was found nearby.

Moon’s bond was set at $75,000 dollars.
