Man arrested for allegedly having meth, cocaine on him

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man who caused a disturbance at a Batesville apartment was arrested on drug charges.

Tishomingo County deputies responded to Hill Top Apartments after getting a report of a disturbance.

Bobby Lee Russell, 40, was walking out of the apartment the deputies arrived.

Rusell said he had marijuana on him when asked by deputies if he had anything illegal on him.

While searching Russell, deputies also found alleged meth and a dollar bill with a white powdery substance. Russell admitted to deputies the substance on the dollar was cocaine.

Rusell was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Bond has not been set.
