Man Arrested for Threatening Starkville Cop

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A Starkville man is behind bars, accused of threatening a police officer online.

Starkville police and the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Christopher Lindsey at his North Montgomery Street apartment for cyberstalking.

Investigators say Lindsey made multiple threats to an officer’s life on social media.

He was taken to the Oktibbeha County jail, Thursday, on a $500,000 bond.

Police say Lindsey was already out on bond for simple assault on an officer, and DUI.
