Man from Guntown faces drug charges in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Guntown man is facing drug charges in Lee County.

On December 28, Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the Auburn area.

The vehicle failed to stop, and deputies noticed the driver was allegedly throwing things out of the driver’s side window.

A deputy stopped to retrieve one of the items, and it was later determined to be meth.

Now, Matthew Fowler is being charged with possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, meth.

A Lee County Judge set Fowler’s bond at $25,000 dollars.
