Video: Market Street Festival Underway

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus residents are getting a taste of New Orleans.

The Friendly City kicked off its annual Market Street Festival Friday night, with a family friendly Mardi Gras parade.

Participants enjoyed moon pies, and of course those famous beads.

Two bands from New Orleans performed on the Riverwalk stage afterward.

The crowd enjoyed the shows, while eating some delicious barbeque and funnel cake.

Market Street Fest continues in downtown Columbus Saturday with food, vendors, and more live music.
