MDWFP to open an Alligator Wildlife Management Area in Bolivar and Coahoma counties
MS DELTA (WCBI) – Alligator hunters in Mississippi will have an additional 2,000 acres of land to hunt on in the Delta.
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisher and Parks, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is opening an Alligator Wildlife Management Area in Bolivar and Coahoma counties.
According to MDWFP, the land will provide additional public hunting opportunities while also conserving important wildlife habitat.
The land consists 2 decades old of bottomland hardwood plantation, providing valuable habitat land for wild animals.
