Meth Arrests Made in Chickasaw Co.

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Chickasaw County deputies bust two people for meth this week.

Both Jill McCallum and Christopher Barnett are charged with possession of methamphetamine in two separate incidents, Monday.

Deputies pulled McCallum over on County Road 149 in Okolona.

Chief Deputy Keith Roberson tells WCBI they found meth in her purse.

Barnett was arrested on County Road 18 in Houlka, after deputies got a call from a landowner, saying someone was trespassing on their land.

Roberson says deputies came across Barnett, searched him, and found meth.

Both McCallum and Barnett will make their first court appearance on September 15.
