Midas franchise owner looks to give SUV to deserving person
The business owner wants to bless someone during this Christmas season
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A Tupelo business owner wanted to give back to a deserving person in the community this Christmas season.
Jason Weatherford owns the Midas dealerships in Tupelo, Oxford, and Columbus. He wanted to do something to help a needy person. So, he was giving away an SUV.
The 2011 Ford Expedition is a one-owner vehicle and will be given to someone in the community.
Jason is asking people to send nominations in via email, telling why their nominee could use a reliable SUV.
Jason said it is one way he can give back to the community.
“I took ownership of these locations this past year and we have been really getting involved in the community, we want to give back to the community. And this is one way we put together as a way to give back in a big way and continue to give back from here, we will be here for years to come and we want to be part of this community,” Weatherford said.
The deadline for nominations is December 17.
